The 15-th international trade fair of drinks industry ALCO+SOFT' 2010 took place on 5-th -7-th October, 2010. The project is organized by “ACCO International” exhibition company with the support of the State Food Department of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, and is considered to be the main sectorial event.
Nomenclature of Alco+Soft covered all industry categories: wines and cognacs, soft, low and strong drinks, juices, mineral waters, tea, coffee as well as packaging, labels, accessories and many other things necessary for beverage manufacture and trade.
Prime objectives of ALCO+SOFT' are: unification of manufacturers and dealers committed to the industry for the purpose of acquaintance with new technologies and equipment, promotion and popularization of new products and brands. Industry professionals convene there to meet colleagues and partners, discuss urgent issues and study the market.
This year, more than 50 enterprises from Ukraine and other countries - Italy, Slovakia, Greece, Russia and Ukraine took part in the exhibition.
Alco+Soft is the leading trade fair of the beverage industry of Ukraine. It has been already held for 15 years and is the “mirror of the industry”, reflecting all trends of domestic alcoholic and non-alcoholic markets. Almost all leading Ukrainian brands began their promotion from that very ground of Alco+Soft.
Coffee, tea and other energy drinks, as well as concomitant products and ingredients for the manufacture of various products are demonstrated at the exhibition.
In addition, here one could not only see, but also taste everything. The other novelty of the exhibition - open promo-degustations. Their purpose is to acquaint the Ukrainian consumers with new drinks.
Business program consisted of activities, dedicated to the most pressing issues. The program of "Alco+Soft 2010" included: Conference on logistics optimization, organized by the Ukrainian Logistics Association.
Even though, Alco+Soft trade fair is a b2b platform for effective business communication and business development that is interesting for representatives of trade networks and private entrepreneurs.

Alco+Soft 2010: On drinks and wines of new sort
Alco + Soft" in addition to traditional beverages, bottles, ñorks, demonstrated unique Greek wines of Chamber of Commerce and the Union of winemakers form Samos island, original liqueurs "KARLOFF" (Slovakia). More than 40 exhibitors from Ukraine, Italy, Greece, Slovakia and Russia presented their products.
Director of the company "Karetny Dvor", Anton Vasilets, stated: "We are a young enterprise, that is why this exhibition is a good chance to demonstrate our products, expand customer base".

"...One can think of the 15th International specialized Trade Fair of drinks industry Alco+Soft 2009, that was held in September, differently. No doubt that we have to give our due to the enthusiasm of ACCO International Company. One of the few specialized exhibitions took place in spite of crisis and was of benefit for both participants and visitors. However, if earlier exhibitors considered their participation to be the element of image, now even leaders of the market did not have an opportunity to buy a stand because of the expense optimization programs. This year, mostly regional companies belonged to the participants. The aim of their participation was to demonstrate new trademarks that are not sold in shops of the capital.
We can make a conclusion that nowadays foreign businesses are interested in Ukrainian companies. And so we have to recognize the fact that refusal of Ukrainian leading companies from the participation in the specialized exhibition displayed the industry as under-developed and not very attractive for foreigners that are ready to cooperation with domestic business-structures.”

Despite the fact that the exhibition wasn’t as popular as in the previous years, it gathered people who are deeply interested in the beverage business. Cognac house "Azeri – Ukr - Frans" presented wide range of champagne, exclusive pomegranate wines. SARATSKY FOOD PLANT offered natural juices. Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Association of alcoholic beverage industry presented liqueurs and spirits, while NIAGARA LTD Production offered a wide range of various imported wines and cognacs. PISCHEMASH, EUROSTEKLOSERVICE, ILONA LTD group of companies presented rather broad assortment of equipment, materials for vineyards handling and winemaking.

AZERI-UKR-FRANS company demonstrated new wines, namely "Æåì÷óæèíà Àçåðáàéäæàíà" (Zhemchuzhyna Azerbaydzhana), half-dry and semisweet(the method of natural fermentation without adding rectified alcohol was used). These wines are produced from pomegranates, but do not have the after-taste of its peel; they have ruby colour, delicate taste and aroma.
Also, the following cognacs were presented: "Áàêó-Äæåéõàí"(Baku Dzheyhan) VS 0,5L, "Áàêó" (Baku) V.S.O.P 0,5 L, "Áàêó" (Baku) V.S.O.P 0,7L, "Áàêó-Äæåéõàí"(Baku Dzheyhan) X.O 0,7L.

SARATSKY FOOD PLANT demonstrated cranberry nectar (1L) and blackberry nectar (1L).
PISCHEMASH, Group of companies offered machines for AKB bottles rinsing and equipment for transportation of ÒÐÁ bottles.
