The 7-th International specialized exhibition of machines and equipment for forestry, woodworking and furniture industry "LISDEREVMASH' 2005" held in Kyiv's International exhibition center from the 4 to 8 October 2005.

From the very first exhibition, "LISDEREVMASH" has annually gained support from The Ministry of Industrial Policy and The State Forestry Committee of Ukraine. This exhibition has been acknowledged as the most important event, which contributes greatly to branch development and objectively reflects its quantitative and qualitative growth. In 2005 the exhibition have an official support of The European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers EUMABOIS.

The major object of the "LISDEREVMASH' 2005" is to demonstrate the best and newest, to determine up-to-date problems and requests of the branch, to assist the expansion of the business relations.

At "LISDEREVMASH' 2005" exhibition the wide assortment of techniques for forestry, woodworking equipment, machines, instruments, accessories, glues and lacquers, finished timber production, components and decoration materials for furniture production was presented.

The thematic seminars, presentations and business-meetings will be held within the framework of the exhibition '2005. This year The International specialized exposition of semi-finished wood products "LisDerevProduct 2005" also was presented, were round timber, boules (unedged), panels, plywood, square-edged products will be demonstrated.

"LISDEREVMASH" is the reliable and the most effective exhibition in Ukraine, which invariably saves traditions of holding exhibition at the same time each year in autumn. It has become extremely popular among representatives of woodworking and furniture industries in a short space of time.

Alexandr Yefseev, Ukraine, direct supplier of exotic wood from Indonesia:

- I hane arrived to the exhibition from Odessa, and I do not regret. I have met with producers of the highest type furniture, which produce also exclusive goods. They were interested in my proposal. So the valuable exotic wood will be supplied, also, in Ukraine. This is a greate progress, about which several years ago it was possible only to dream.

Andrey Popovskiy, Ukraine, director of Kiev firm "DOKKA-universal":

- The furniture shop of our firm produces doors, windows and another joiners' goods. We have an intention to buy contemporary machine tools and to conclude agreements to the deliveries of componentry. We are satisfied with the exhibition; here is what to select.

Rock Missilu, the citizen of Congo:

- I finished building institute in Odessa. Now I work in the Ukrainian firm "Variatsiya", which isengaged with deliveries of lumber in Belgium, Holland, Italy and other European countries. On the exhibition we are occupied by the search for business partners. We have already numerous specific proposals.

Vladimir Martynov, Ukraine, "Karpaty" Ltd.:

- Our firm has been found in 1991 and enumerates two hundred colleagues. We produce parquet, lumber, joiners' goods. On the exhibition we were interested in saw-mill machines, woodworking machines, wood-joint equipment. We have a lot of proposals from the exponents. Probably we will stop on equipment of domestic producers. It closely approximated to foreign, but prices are lower considerably.

Victor Kosak, private entrepreneur, Ukraine:

- We only begin our business on production of cabinet furniture. Everything is interesting for us: machine tools, tools, contemporary technologies, and production organization. The necessary information was obtained during the first day of the exhibition. We stopped at the machine tools of "Stankodnepr" firm.

Oleg Kushch, the chief of service of firm "Stankodnepr":

- A large quantity of machine tools were sold directly on the exhibition, including all machine tools produced by our Machine Tool Building Plant. It is very important to also have a supports of own image, advertisement of goods, work both with old and new clients. We showed ourselves on the exhibition – we are live, healthy, we work, and develop.

Sergey Abramenko, manager of firm "Dnepro":

- Our longitudinal-jointing equipment for billets always is in great demand on market. Visitors were lively interested in it during the exhibition. So, the number of clients has increased, which gives the possibility to enlarge production.

Oleg Kroshka, director of firm "Master & Co":

- We exposed the dimensioning machine tools, intended for high-quality cut of DSP and work with wood. We concluded several agreements for machine tools delivery to furniture-makers, so exhibition did not pass in vain.
