The 10-th International Forum of oil and gas industry “Oil and Gas'2006” was hold in Kiev, Ukraine, from 7-th till 10-th of November 2006.

This Forum is carried out by the National joint-stock company “Naftogaz of Ukraine” and the exhibition company “ACCO International” through the support of the Ministry of fuel and energy of Ukraine.

The Forum includes a scientific and practical conference and an exhibition, which is considered to be the main exhibition event in Ukrainian oil and gas industry.

Both events are organized at the highest level. Topics of the conferences always touch upon the pressing questions of the industry: here the priority directions for the development of the complex are discussed and new scale projects are presented.

The 2006' year Forum included: International conference "Oil and gas sector of Ukraine: Development strategy”; Round Table "Enhancing Energy Efficiency in the Oil and Gas Complex. International Investment Projects", Workshop: "Problems and Prospects Related to Increase of Oil and Gas Production in Ukraine" and Round Table "Development of Joint Implementation Projects under the Kyoto Protocol in Ukraine's Oil and Gas Industry".

As a rule, government officers, ministers, diplomats, leading specialists from native and foreign companies, experts and mass media representatives take part in the work of the Forum.

The display of the exhibition includes a wide spectrum of modern equipment, machinery and technologies for exploring, mining, transportation, processing and production of oil and gas products, building units for oil and gas complex, and also control–gaging equipment, services etc.

The 2006-year exhibition gathered about 300 exhibitors from 16 countries: Great Britain, Germany, Denmark, Holland, Hungary, China, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, USA, Finland, Romania, Sweden, Swetzerland and Ukraine. The total exhibition area was 11000 sq.m. As preliminary predicted, in 2006 the exposition area of “Oil and Gas” will be more than 10 000 square m.

Impetuous development and implementation of new technologies in the processes of production and projecting, the rising requirements to the quality of products and competition in the Ukrainian market determine a keen interest of native and foreign companies of all directions of development in the oil and gas industry to the exhibition “Oil and Gas”.

Companies-participants of the Forum “Oil and Gas” note a stable high organisational level, business atmosphere and its saturated program. Leading business editions of Ukraine and CIS invariably widely cover the work of the exhibition.
